Alan Bissett
Alan is a highly experienced corporate and commercial solicitor, dual-qualified in Northern Ireland and in England & Wales. He brings over three decades of legal practice to Turley Legal, with a career that has included senior roles leading large corporate/commercial practices in Belfast. His work has spanned corporate transactions, commercial contracts and regulatory compliance, with particular depth in the energy, utilities and renewables sectors. Alan has advised on mergers and acquisitions, joint venture arrangements, financing structures and complex commercial negotiations, often acting for clients operating in highly regulated environments.
He also brings board-level governance experience having previously served two terms as a non-executive director on the board of Londonderry Port and Harbour Commissioners, contributing to strategic oversight of one of Northern Ireland’s key infrastructure bodies.
Alan lives in Portrush and enjoys travelling further afield to find places almost as spectacular.
