Turley Legal Now Recruiting for Law Degree Apprenticeship in Partnership with Ulster University
Turley Legal is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2025 intake of the Law Degree Apprenticeship, delivered in partnership with Ulster University.
This four-year programme offers an alternative route into the legal profession, allowing participants to gain paid work experience within a legal practice while completing a fully funded LLB (Hons) Law degree from Ulster University.
About the Programme
The Law Degree Apprenticeship combines structured legal employment with part-time academic study. Apprentices will work four days per week at Turley Legal (Coleraine) and attend university one day per week at Ulster’s Belfast campus. Apprentices will receive a full-time salary for the duration of the programme, including the day spent at university. Tuition fees are fully funded by the Department for the Economy.
On successful completion, apprentices will graduate with an LLB (Hons) Law degree and will have gained four years of practical experience in a legal setting.
The Role
You’ll earn while you learn, working towards your professional legal qualification while gaining hands-on experience in a modern, fast-paced law firm. From day one, you’ll be supported by experienced solicitors and learn how businesses are structured, how contracts are negotiated and how legal disputes are resolved. You’ll assist with legal research, help draft documents, attend client meetings and be part of the team across various practice areas. This is a role for someone who is curious, detail-oriented and eager to build a career in law. You’ll gain early exposure to high-quality legal work, while developing the confidence and skills to progress within the profession.
