Turley Legal welcomes senior corporate and commercial solicitor Alan Bissett

Turley Legal is pleased to announce the arrival of Alan Bissett as a senior member of our corporate and commercial team. Alan is dual-qualified in Northern Ireland and in England and Wales and brings more than 30 years’ experience advising businesses across a wide range of sectors.

Alan has held senior positions leading major corporate and commercial practices in Belfast. His work spans corporate transactions, commercial contracts and regulatory compliance with particular depth in the energy, utilities and renewables sectors. He has advised on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing structures and complex commercial negotiations, including for clients operating in highly regulated environments.

Alongside his legal practice Alan brings valuable board-level insight. He previously served two terms as a non-executive director on the board of Londonderry Port and Harbour Commissioners where he contributed to the strategic oversight of one of Northern Ireland’s key infrastructure organisations.
